Nice to meet you! My name is Syama Jivana Ramnarine, A.K.A. DragonFeesh. I’m an Illustrator and Reportage Artist located in Queens, NY. I’m currently getting into the world of 2D rigging and Vtubing (virtual streaming) and spend my downtime admiring fish, climbing mountains, practicing martial arts, and playing videogames. Moderated community and maintained cooperation and morale.
Hosted in-person meetings to curate merchandise and plan table display.
Planned and purchased collateral for table both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

NYC Mythology: The Night Lives of Gargoyles,

Conducted visual research to understand gargoyles, grotesques, and iconic scenes within NYC subculture.
Utilized research to bring concepts to life via thumbnailing and brainstorming, before digitally illustrating them in Procreate.
Implemented revisions.

Ganapathi Mandir, Reportage Zine Creation
March 2023 – April 2023
Executed numerous and frequent live drawing sessions.
Engaged in conversation with community members to inject more meaning and context into drawings.
Incorporated hand lettering to maintain handmade feeling.
Edited paintings and sketches in Adobe Photoshop.
Prepared Zine for print in Adobe Indesign.
